Google AdSense advertising

We use Google AdSense from Google Ireland Limited to place ads automatically. With your consent where required and where Google policies permit, ads may be personalized using your interests and previous activity. Otherwise Google may serve non-personalized or limited ads, or no ads.

Google and its advertising partners may process your IP address, browser and device details, current page and cookie identifiers to select, deliver, measure and secure ads. Google Privacy & messaging lists the purposes, partners and choices. You can refuse or withdraw consent using Privacy settings. We do not add form entries, tool inputs or account details to advertising tags.

What happens to your details if you use a quote form on this site, and what does not happen.

Who receives your data

If you submit a quote request through an advertising link on this site, your details go to the company named on that form — not to us, and not to an unnamed “panel of installers”. The recipient is named before you submit. If a form cannot name the recipient, we do not run it.

Legal basis

Your consent, given by submitting the form for the specific purpose of receiving a quote. You can withdraw it by contacting the named recipient. We do not treat “legitimate interest” as a substitute for consent on a lead form.

What we do not do

We do not sell lists. We do not enrich your record with third-party data. We do not pass your details to more companies than the one you chose. We do not transfer personal data outside the UK or EEA without an appropriate transfer mechanism in place.

Calculators

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to a server, because there is no server to send them to.

Community submissions

If you submit a real bill or a measured SCOP, we publish the structured fields only — house type, year, system, kWh. We do not publish your address and we do not publish free text.
