Heat pump running costs by house type
Thirty worked examples. Each one has its own heat demand per square metre, its own assumed design flow temperature and therefore its own SCOP — because a 1930s solid-wall semi and a 2015 detached are not the same problem with a different label.

Compare at least three installers. Ask each one for the heat-loss calculation and the design flow temperature in writing — that number decides your running cost more than the brand on the box.
